Three mothers whose sons were all killed by New York city police officers lead a small march through the streets of The Bronx last night to call attention to police violence. The mothers were Juanita Young whose son Malcolm Ferguson was killed in the Bronx in 2000. Officer Louis Rivera, claimed the gun fired accidentally during an attempted drug arrest. The second mother was Hawa Bah whose son Mohamed Bah was killed in Harlem in 2012 after the family called for an ambulance. The police say Bah was wielding a knife but the family said there was no knife and the officer who screamed "he's stabbing me shoot him " was actually being tasered by a fellow officer. Bah was mentally ill. His mother had called for help. And the 3rd mother last night was Iris Baez whose son Anthony Baez was killed while he was playing football in the neighborhood. Accidentally the football hit a parked police car and officers handcuffed Baez and arrested him for disorderly conduct. He was placed in a chokehold and died. It was 1994. The march ended at the 46 police precinct where Officer Francis Livoti who killed Baez was stationed. New Yorkers await the decision on the Eric Garner grand jury. He was killed by NYPD officers in a chokehold in July. Photo @nina_berman @everydayblackamerica @everydayeverywhere @noorimages #stolenlives #blacklivesmatter by everydayusa
