King at Home

I found some rare photographs of Martin King at home with his family. 4 amazing photos in no particular order here are the descriptions of each.
1. Coretta is upset with her husband, who had been attacked the night before by a disturbed white racist but had not defended himself. Though the police urged King to press charges, he refused. "The system we live under creates people such as this youth," he said. "I'm not interested in pressing charges. I'm interested in changing the kind of system that produces such men."

2. Martin Luther King Jr. pushes his youngest daughter Bernice on a glider swing in their backyard on Nov. 8, 1964.

3. Martin Luther King Jr. feeds his infant daughter Bernice at Sunday dinner Nov 8, 1964 in Atlanta, Ga.

4. On April 25, 1960, Atlanta Ku Klux Klansmen burned crosses in front of several black homes in the city. The King residence was one of the houses that were targeted.

Today is not MLK's birthday, his birthday is January 15th... On that note today is MLK day. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is a United States federal holiday marking the birthday of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It is observed on the third Monday of January each year, which is around the time of King's birthday.
King was the chief spokesman for nonviolent activism in the civil rights movement, which successfully protested racial discrimination in federal and state law. The campaign for a federal holiday in King's honor began soon after his assassination in 1968. Ronald Reagan signed the holiday into law in 1983, and it was first observed on January 20, 1986. At first, some states resisted observing the holiday as such, giving it alternative names or combining it with other holidays. It was officially observed in all 50 states for the first time in 2000.

Birth Control for men?!

A birth control for men? That could soon be a reality. Some of those "just for men" options include creams, injections, even implants.

Men make a thousand sperm a second. To be an effective contraceptive, sperm count has to go down to zero.

Concerns now are that testosterone could increase the risk of heart disease and prostate cancer. That's why Dr. John Amory is blocking vitamin A in the testes, which in turn blocks the development of sperm.

"I decided to explore ways of suppressing sperm without using hormones."

Tests in mice show it works 100 percent of the time, but some doctors are skeptical.

Researchers have also found a hormone free way to stop sperm production. They're using a drug treatment that targets proteins critical for the process.

Katt Willams threatens Quentin Tarantino!

Quentin Tarantino has a new film out Called "Django Unchained". From what I hear this film is about a slave (played by Jamie Foxx) hired to go after slave masters. Quentin's use of the N-word did not go so well with some, Katt Williams especially. Here is what he had to say...

"Quentin Tarantino thinks he can say the N-word. But I checked with all of Ni**adom and nobody knows where he got his pass from. I hope he didn't get it from Samuel L. Jackson and Jamie Foxx cause they aren't going to help you when I see you."

Um, did I miss something, why is Katt so mad at Quentin? I hope the answer is revealed during the viewing of the film because I don't get it.

Say what you will about Rick Ross, but the man knows how to construct a character and then live out that lifestyle. His Instagram feed — username "richforever" — is an unending succession of expensive sneakers, cars, jewelry and courtside seats to basketball games, but he may have reached his zenith this morning when he posted the above photo. He is wearing a fur coat and holding what appears to be a baby leopard. His hat says "Kings." The caption for the photo is "Come & $uck a D-ck 4 a Millionaire. #TwoKings." That seems to present a problem, considering the presence of the wild cat, but I'm sure he'll figure it out.

Burglar who ransacked house gets arrested

Police in North Carolina have arrested the teenager caught on video burglarizing the home of a Reddit user.

Qushawn Dy'antay Newsome, 17, was arrested Thursday and charged with second-degree burglary and larceny, TV station WRAL reported.

"They kicked in the back door," MakingThings commented on Reddit. "They took our Xbox. Video games. Wii. A hard drive. Money. ipod. A Roku. A router. … They ruined a camera, the DVR, the door, a router, a TV and the bleach ruined some clothes."

The video shows the burglar carrying objects in and out of the house over the course of 14 minutes. Newsome ended up stealing about $1,500 worth of items.

Man Shot In Head At Springs Bar Dies

Police swarmed a Springs bar early Friday morning after a man was shot in the head.

The 21-year-old male was found alive but in life-threatening condition after police arrived at the Copperhead Road Saloon, located in the area of North Academy and North Carefree in Colorado Springs. He later died at the hospital.

Police now say the gunshot victim is actually the suspect in the shooting. He was reportedly involved in an altercation with security at the bar, resulting in shots being exchanged. Police spoke with the other party involved during the investigation, and say they have no intention of putting anyone in custody at this time.

A spokesman for the Colorado Springs Police Department could not confirm if the shooting was an act of self-defense when asked.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I hope you have been enjoying the blog. As I stated before it will only get better, please tell me what you like or dont' like and I will consider some changes.
