Every city has its selection of local artists on the rise and Colorado Springs is no different. When you choose your local artist what assists you with your decision making? I like to relate to the artists I listen to on some level. Maybe they use the same slang I do. Maybe both of us have been through something similar like death or struggling with poverty as a youth. Many times the MC, singer or band of choice just says what you wanted to say, or how you feel about various topics. There definitely has to be some truth in the music if I'm going to defend it, play it loud or purchase/download it. Something to think about...Royal Click...King Talk!
